Culvert and Waste Weir

Mile 118.46 - This is a combination culvert and waste weir which works something like the little hole in the top of your sink.  When the water level gets too high, it overflows into this opening and is redirected to the river via a culvert which runs directly underneath. 

If you peak your head through the waste weir gates, you can see the culvert.
