Lock 33 - Harper's Ferrry

Mile 60.7 - The lock house is missing its roof and the lock isn't in much better shape either, after the 1996 flood.  Infact, only the outer shell remains.

The walls of the lock are being held open by these device that are very similar to the ones on the Monocacy aqueduct.  There were a couple of earth moving machines at the other end of this lock and a sign promising a restoration.
