Lock 30 - Brunswick

Mile 55 - If you stop into the town of Brunswick, you'll see this mural depicting the town's history.  You can find refreshment and lodging here.

The modern day train station is your first stop once you leave the towpath.

Lock 30 lies under the bridge to Virginia.  Beyond this lock, the towpath, which was widened for cars to drive to the Brunswick Family Campground, returns to a humble footpath.
