Snow!  Snow in Washington!  This was the snowfall that took everybody by surprise.  There was no mention of it at all on the weather but I woke up one morning, and not only was it snowing, but there was 10" predicted for the day.  The federal government was closed for two days!  The schools were closed too and late the rest of the week.  Those two days were spent with shovels and sleds.
